Our top tip!
Drive this scenic road that winds its way between the Twelve Bens and the Maumturk Mountains. It’s one of the most picturesque drives in Ireland, passing lakes (like Lough Inagh) and boglands – perfect for photo stops!
The peaks are challenging and often only suitable for seasoned walkers (e.g., the Glencoaghan Horseshoe).
we recommend Connemara National Park (Diamond Hill), which offers the best views of the Twelve Bens.

A must-do! One of Ireland’s best hiking trails, located in the National Park. There are two routes to choose from (an easy loop and a summit trail), and the views are absolutely breathtaking.
Our tip afterwards: Be sure to stop by Veldon’s Seafarer in Letterfrack – it’s our absolute favorite pub in the area. Perfect for warming up and refueling after your hike!

A wild, unpolished adventure for those who want to escape the crowds.
